I found this Survey in the Teen Sunday School Room as part of last Quarter's teaching...

Heaven & Hell Survey

1) Do you believe in a literal hell- with fire and brimstone?

2)If not, what do you think hell is?

3)Who do you think will go there?


4)Do you think the torment will last for eternity?

5)Do you believe in heaven?

6)Who do you think will go there?

7)Have you made any preperations to go to heaven yourself?

I wonder, how many still believe there is a burning hell to fear? Maybe that is why our world is in such disarray?? Has someone decivied people into believeing that hell is only a fable? Make no mistakes, Hell is very real! Just as real in fact as Heaven. Many bible scriptures bear this out! So what is your choice for eternity Smoking or Non?? You choose, but one things for sure you will have to choose! I just hope you don't wait till it's too late...

Psa 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, [and] all the nations that forget God.
Psa 11:6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: [this shall be] the portion of their cup.
Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

I am not perfect, I ask to be forgiven on a daily basis and you can be too! God's mercy and grace cover me again & again as His spirit guides me through each new day. Thanks be to God for His unspeakable Gift of salvation, the precious Holy Ghost, and His protection in this life and the one that is to come in eternity!=-)

Phone Call to God

When I make a phone call I sometimes get irratated when I have to press a bunch of numbers or enter a bunch of codes to talk to someone. What if, when we prayed, we had to go through the same process to reach the Lord? "You have reached Heaven. Your call is important to us. Please listen carefully to the following options.
If you want to thank God for His goodness, press or say 1.
If you have sinned and want forgiveness, press or say 2.
If you have been unfaithful to your spouse, press or say 3.
If you have lied to someone, press or say 4.
If you are a backslider, press or say 5.
If you have a complaint, press or say 6.
If you are hurting in your body, troubled in your mind,or grieving over someone or some circumstance and need healing,comfort, & strength, press or say 7.
If you need to ask God for a special blessing, press or say 8.
If you would like to speak directly to Jesus, press or say 0 and He will be with you shortly...Approxamite wait time 5 minutes."

I am so thankful that we DO NOT have to go through this process to get to Jesus! There is no automated voice, no number system, no busy siginals and no wait or hold time! We can go directly to God, ANYTIME! God is always available to listen to His children! You can pray anytime and never get a busy signal! You can pray for forgivenes, guidance, and comfort DAY OR NIGHT! No religion offers its' followers what Christianity does. We have access to a living God, THE ONLY ONE, who is ever concerned about His Children! Whatever your problems are today, whatever heartache you are experiencing, whatever burden you are carrying, you won't get the run around when you pray. God will hear and He will answer! He is BIGGER and BETTER than ALL of the many "gods" of this world because He is the ONLY GOD in heaven and on earth... and His name is JESUS!
